Thanks for your compliments about the site, yes our goal first and foremost is to educate, as we beleive an educated customer is best customer.
As for the effect of sun, that is indeed detrimental. It also depends how much sun you get during the day. Generally you should rotate the rugs may be every 3 months or so, that way the fading will be evenly. The sun's effect at most newer rugs (non veggie dyes) are more sever.
Again, the best is to be careful, protect as much as you can, and rotate the rugs occassionally.
