|| *Message was: I was looking through an Oriental carpet store recently, and was shown two octagonal carpets, about 200 cm x 200 cm (length and width). |
They were represented to be Nains, and have the Nain pattern (blue geometric curved pattern on cream/ivory colored background with center medallion) and appear to be wool with silk highlights. The visage is sharp, not blurry like a slightly out-of-focus picture. RAJ was represented to be 45. Questions:
1. I've not heard of octagonal Nains before. Are there such a thing?
2. How can I find out the LAA for this carpet? I'm not sure what to look for. Is it the number of plys in the woof, or something else?
3. About what would be a reasonable price range for the carpets as described?
