: RAJ or (RADJ) is the number of the knots in 7 cm. However, KPSI (Knots per Square Inch) means number of knots in one square inch. For example if the number on Knots in one inch is 13 and you should multiply 13 by itself and the result 169 is the KPSI.

: Allouc, RAJ or KPSI are only one of the factors that defining the quality of rugs. (At least that I believe!). There are so many other factors that you should consider.

: The numbers on the knots vertically and horizontally are different. I usually count the number of the vertical line (Wraps). Usually there is not a define correlation between the number of Wraps (Vertical) and Wefts (horizontal) line.
