I appreciate your message and interesting comments about our "Formula" to define the price of rugs. Let me tell you a little about how we came with these numbers for price.
Ada, we checked price of the rugs that already sold in auction houses such as eBay. We select 5 rugs from specific region (such as KASHAN) and divided the total prices by the total square feet and the result was price vs. square feet ratio.

The price of a rug is also related to other different factors such as:
Where are you buying the rug?
The number of KPSI?
The quality of the rug?
How old is the rug?
How inform is the buyer about the rug?

We are not in any shap and form support or represent or know any of these sellers on eBay and these items just chosen as example:

130 feet KASHAN for US $157.51 $1.21 per Square Feet KASHAN

70 square feet KASHAN US $177.50 $2.54 per Square Feet KASHAN

140 feet KASHAN US $356 $2.54 per Square Feet KASHAN

I could give you more examples from eBay rug sellers, so if you are looking to buy 12 rugs with $ 3.58 or cheaper you can find on Ebay. Just type "kashan" on the search box on eBay.

ADA, we are in process of changing the price from single point price to a range price. There are some top quality KASHAN rug that are selling for $30-$35 per square feet. Hardly, you can find any on eBay, the majority of those rugs they end up to the high galleries or top collector homes.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any question or suggestion.

Thank You
Afshin Nejad
