It differs from country to country. In Iran children go to school. Child labor is no more of an issue in Iran then in the US or Great Britain.
However Child labor is a big issue in India and Pakistan. According to the US Department of Labor India and Pakistan still allows child labor where little slave children are chained to looms 12 or more hours per day.
In the last 15 years Iran has taken a lead in the region in the health and welfare of children.
