 *Message was: Hello,
A Tajak Kazak is a kazak style rug from Afghanistan or Pakistan. A 6 inch variance is not unusual. If it looks funny do not buy it. My general rule is that if a flaw is the first thing you see when you notice a rug then skip it. However if you like the rug then it is not important. On a Persian City carpet a variance like that would be a bigger negative but on a Tribal or village rug it is minor.
Best wishes,
Barry

: Have seen a lovely rug labeled Tajik kazak. Since I' m a novice at this, and cannot seem to find anything referencing "tajik'", can you tell me abit about it? Also, the rug is 6" wider on one end than the other (5x 7). Is this typical? Thanks for your help
